Chrissy Teigen's 1-year-old daughter was dragged into the bizarre Pizzagate conspiracy popularized by right-wing conspiracy theorists and online trolls.
Liz Crokin, who according to her website is 'an award-winning author, a seasoned and well-traveled entertainment journalist and a political junkie,' tweeted out photos of Luna, the daughter of the model and Rhythm and Blues superstar John Legend.
The photos show Luna dressed as an Alice in Wonderland character, as a hotdog and as a pineapple. In one photo uploaded to Snapchat, Teigen used a pizza emoji.
Crokin used her alleged journalistic prowess to deduce that these symbols indicate that Teigen and Legend have placed Luna into the nefarious world of Pizzagate.
The Pizzagate theory is a widely discredited allegation that high-ranking Democrat officials were involved in human trafficking - including a child sex abuse ring - via a Washington D.C. pizza establishment called Comet Ping Pong.

At first, Teigen tweeted on Saturday: 'Alright. I debated saying something about this but I’m pretty disturbed over here. The fact that there are people with these...thoughts...is really scary.'
Later, she tweeted that she interpreted Crokin's tweet as implying that she and Legend are 'darksided pizzagate pedophiles who traffic our daughter'.
She added: 'Ummmmm this is really scary sh*t.'
Chelsea Clinton, the daughter of Hillary and Bill who has been subjected to extensive online trolling in the past, reached out to Teigen on Twitter to offer words of support.
Clinton wrote: 'Chrissy, sending you & beautiful Luna a huge hug. It is awful & never ok when people threaten or demean any child. I’ve lost count of the Twitter accounts who’ve threatened Charlotte with #FGM. While I never bother to report threats against me, I now report every one against her.'FGM in this instance is likely a reference to female genital mutilation. Charlotte Clinton Mezvinsky is three years old.
Teigen tweeted in response: 'I feel silly even worrying about this in comparison to the magnitude of slander and threats you and your family have dealt with for decades. These people are truly sick and scary. Love to you, Charlotte and Marc!!'
Crokin had been verified on Twitter, which Teigen took issue with in a sharply worded tweet.

She wrote: 'Thank you, Twitter, for verifying somebody who is essentially accusing me

The social media giant then unverified Crokin.Teigen and Legend are also both threatening to sue the alleged journalist.
Crokin's pinned tweet on Twitter includes a link to a PayPal account and reads: 'Please support me here. I started my blog since MSM censored & punished me for covering sex trafficking & Seth Rich!'
