Meghan Markle's half-sister Samantha Grant addresses 'cashing in' on the royals: 'We all have to survive'

Meghan Markle’s half-sister Samantha Grant doesn’t mind “cashing in” on her famous sibling’s latest role as Britain’s Duchess of Sussex.
The 53-year-old appeared on “Good Morning Britain” Monday to discuss the former “Suits” star’s allegedly strained relationship with their father, former Hollywood lighting director Thomas Markle.
Grant admitted to using the media to make money.
“I’ve worked in media most of my life and in broadcasting,” Grant claimed. “So because my sister is suddenly royal isn’t grounds for me to stop doing all of that. Let’s face it, we all have to survive. Money makes the world go round, so if you want to call that cashing in, that’s fine.
"But I think no one in media would refuse a paycheck for talking about the royals and as a family we’re not subject to royal protocol, certainly here in America. If you want to call it cashing in, I think that’s a little bit ridiculous.”Meghan Markle’s half-sister Samantha Grant doesn’t mind “cashing in” on her famous sibling’s latest role as Britain’s Duchess of Sussex.
