Ex-Giants WR Cody Latimer arrested in Colorado on assault, firearm charges

Former Giants wide receiver Cody Latimer was arrested early Saturday morning in Colorado.
Latimer, who spent the last two seasons with the Giants, was booked on a series of charges including second-degree assault, menacing and illegally discharging a firearm.
The arrest took place south of Denver at an apartment complex in unincorporated Douglas County.
Latimer, who began his career with the Broncos and spent four seasons in Denver before joining Big Blue, joined Washington this offseason.
A spokesperson for the Douglas County Sheriff’s department told the Daily News that Latimer had posted a $25,000 bond and has been released from jail.
