One man shot dead, another wounded outside Queens bodega

NYPD

An 18-year-old man was shot dead and another man was wounded outside a Queens bodega, police said Friday.
Sean Brady was sitting behind the wheel of a red Chevrolet sedan parked near The Sandwich Spot on Rockaway Beach Blvd. near Beach 87th St. around 1:15 a.m. Thursday, about a mile from his home, when a man in a black hoodie stormed up, cops said.
Witnesses told police that the suspect whipped out a gun and shot a 24-year-old man standing outside the bodega in the leg, then ran up to the car and shot Brady in the head before running off, authorities said.
Medics rushed both victims to Jamaica Hospital, where Brady died a short time later, police said. The second man is expected to survive.
No arrests have been made.
