SEE IT: Two men attack 16-year-old teen inside Brooklyn bodega and swipe $500 in cash and debit card
A pair of crooks beat and robbed a 16-year-old teen pulling money out of an ATM at a Brooklyn bodega, video released Saturday by police shows.
The teen was inside the Lily Mini Market on Ralph Ave. near Sutter Ave. in Brownsville about 7:40 p.m. Thursday when one of the two men squared off against and punched him four times in the face, the video shows.
The suspect’s accomplice flashed a knife and forced the teen to fork over his debit card and $500 before the two men ran out of the store.
The victim, who didn’t know his attackers, suffered minor injuries but refused medical attention, police said.
One of the suspects is about 150 pounds, 5-foot-6 inches tall with black hair. At the time of the robbery he was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants, black sneakers and a yellow du-rag.
The man with the knife is about 6-feet tall with close-cropped hair. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, grey sweatpants and light colored sneakers.
